7 activities for a Healthy Thanksgiving 2019

Hello Current and Future Next Levelers,

It's that time of year again. The holidays are upon us again and we are again plagued with the temptation of good friends, family and food. In that or another order. But, regardless of preference we are in the holiday's again and its around this time that our fitness motivations begins to wane and we may find ourselves once agin facing the demon scale or the even worse the syndrome of " my clothes don't fit"

There is a solution to this and it involves you making the necessary mental adjustments to not only have a festive holiday minimize you risk for exercise stagnation. I have listed for you 7 items to help you navigate this Thanksgiving season: 

  1. Plan it out: Plan out your meals to eat what you want to cook and eat. If you plan high calorie meals you'll have high calorie results.
  2. The real things to worry about: High Fructose corn syrup. It's in "EVERYTHING". Read labels to reduce it's influence in your food choices. 
  3. Dare to dessert: The key to dessert is if the pie is cut into 12 pieces. You have 1/2 of that 1 piece of pie.
  4. Don't Graze: Don't graze. Horses and cows graze. Humans shouldn't. Why? Because we end up eating more calories on top of your meal.
  5. Get Moving: Play soccer, hike, ride your bike, walk or run Thanksgiving morning it'll help you increase your metabolism and reduce your risk for over eating
  6. Be Strong: It's tempting to succumb to all the libations and food due to Thanksgiving celebrations. But if you plan your eating events you should come out on top.
  7. Hit the Gym: Post Thanksgiving. See you @ NEXT LEVEL Fitness burning off Thanksgiving and gearing up for the next challenge: X-MAs and New Years
