Stress Relief: tips to manage day to day stress

Hello to you all,

How do you manage stress? Living in the world there isn't anybody who hasn't been under some kind of pressure to meet a deadline , deal with unpleasant people and just be overwhelmed by day to day live.

How we respond to our stresses can have a big impact on our overall health. Listed below are some tips on how to cope and manage a pressure filled day.

  1. Be Active: find an activity that you like to do. living an active lifestyle can reduce your risk for stress related problems. Participating in regular fitness training can lower anxiety and depression. Fitness is an excellent way to promote health and well being. Exercise reduce cortisol and known stress hormone that occurs with inflammation. Fitness triggers the release of 
  2. Be quite: Create a quite place where there are no distractions. Manage your TV, phone and desktop as much as you can. You can program your phone alarms to limit your time on these devices with a friendly reminder to turn it off. Having a room or going on a bike ride or walking in the woods can help you to take your mind off of things to bring balance to your day and life
  3. Get Sleep: Lack of quality sleep ( @ least 6-8 hours, uninterrupted ) is one of the major problems leading to stress. Over thinking the day, eating late, taking work home with you, can increase your stress and minimize your ability to dissipate your feeling before you come home. Going to bed after watching TV is the worst plus any blue light emitting LED in your room. These lights are known to disrupt good sleeping patterns
  4. Connect: Strong family and social ties help balance our lives and lower anxiety and any stress you may have. Reach out and talk to someone. It'll make you feel better.

These 4 Tips can make a world of difference to you and help you find constructive ways to help manage stressful life situations. Aside from the top 4 you can seek help from a therapist, a consular or a trusted friend or family member. The main thing is that you are not alone and there a people and resources to help you.
