How sleep can optimize your fitness

Hello Potential Clients,

Sleep is an important component of our health paradigm. Yet it is one of the most difficult things to pin down. cause of the hectic western world that we live in. Sleep can only be possible when we prep the things necessary to facilitate a good night's sleep.

Prepping yourself for good zzz's

  1. Program your watch to remind you that you need to go to bed at least 15 minutes before you lay your head down.
  2. Read a book! Watching TV or playing video games can stimulate your attention centers in your brain and instead of slowing down , your thinking speeding things up. A book can slow things down and make sleep a bit more possible.
  3. Turn of the blue lights. LED lights on computers, DVD,  cable boxes has been shown to interfere in healthy sleep patterns. Cover these lights or turn off thee  machines so that their light isn't disrupting you deep sleep.
  4. Make your room cool. research as indicated that having your room cool, not cold can help you go into a deep sleep. A room temperature of 63 - 71 has been shown to be optimal in helping cool your body down making sleep more pleasant.
  5. Don't eat big meals late. eating late messes up your digestion system and instead of your blood settling down it is rushing to your stomach to process your late meal. No one likes sleeping on a full stomach.
  6. Poor sleep has been linked to increase cardiovascular problems such as heart attack or stroke.

As you can see tweaking a few things before bed can have excellent sleep outcomes . Resulting in more energy less tiredness and ultimately more strength to tackle the rigors of the day. By following the tips above. You too can releish ib the health benefits of good sleeping improving your quality of life.
