Five things too create a fitness mindset almost instantly.

How to you develop a fitness mindset? It is very important that you have a set of concrete ideas on how you want to be working out to get the results you are seeking.

Saying you want to change is not the same as doing the things necessary to create a positive body change. Listed below are some mindset ideas to help keep me on track.

Go to bed early

This is one of the hardest things to do. We all know we need to sleep at least 8 hours to be fully rested. But, binge watching our favorite TV show, getting home late, or catching up on work or home projects, always seem to push us past our ideal bedtime.

We have to plan to sleep. If you need 8 hours figure out when your going to to sleep and program your watch or phone to ring 15 minutes before your head is to hit the pillow.

This alarm will prepare your mind to plan to prep for adequate sleep. Training ourselves this way. Will over timer prepare us to get things in motion before we need to close our eyes for the night. The keys to a good night sleep:

  • No eating or drinking an 1hour before bed.
  • Darken the room.
  • Turn off any LED lights on phones , cable boxes
  • Make sure the room is 68*. Warm rooms make warm bodies. Makes for poor sleep.
  • Wear loose clothing that can breath
  • Have breathable bed sheets that don't trap moisture.

Plan your meals for the next day.

I always think about what I'm going to eat. Especially for breakfast. I try not to miss breakfast. It's the most important meal of the day. It helps fuel my brain and it gives me a boost so I can get my metabolism up and running.

You should be planning meals for the day. Either your taking food from home or your planning on eating out have an idea of the menu selection so that your choices won't place more calories in your body than you need to get rid of.

Eat at least 3 meals a day. Snack on fruit, drink water, coffee or rtea.

Plan your workouts

Know what activities your going to do that day. To many people wing it when they show up at the gym. Do a little of this a little of that. That doesn't work! At Next Level there is a daily plan and a monthly plan. Every session with clients or by myself I have a plan on what we should doing. Rollercosters are fun but not when it comes to fitness training. Having structure makes your results that more guarrantted.

Stay engaged in your workout. Doing movements to a number without being conscious of your breathing or form is a recipe for no gains. Each repetition should be deliberate. Make the most of your training time and set up the opportunity to chnge your bdy in the best way possible.

Be consistent

The key to building a healthy body is being consistent. Yes, there will be days that you don't want to exercise. TOO BAD!. It's a fleeting emotion that is testing your resolve to endure.Once you start exercising that feeling of apathy" will dissipate and you'll probably have one of the best workouts in your life.

There are probably a number of things that you can list to create a fitness mindset. But the five listed above would be the cornerstone of any plan to acheive fitness success.
