I've spoken to a few of you about taking nutritional supplements. Below are examples of products that I use routinely to help me sustain my active lifestyle.

- BCAA: branch chain amino acids help you to burn more fat as a primary fuel rather than glucose ( sugar ), and helps build toned dense muscles
Creatine
This is a mineral salt that has the function of replenishing ATP, which is the molecule that when cleaved releases energy so that we can initiate a muscle contraction.
To use this product effectively you need to use it daily. This is 3 weeks of loading and 1 week off for clearance.
The way to use creatine is to load your body with 20 g per day for 7 days. Each level scoop = 5g. On the 8th day take a daily dose of 5 g for the next 14 days. The last 7 days abstain and restart again the same loading then maintenance doses for the following month. Another way is to load 3-5 grams a day. It'll take longer to titrate into your blood stream but after a month you will see results. With this method you don't have to cycle off.
BCAA
This is a daily/monthly process. You should take this daily. Each level scoop = 8.6g. There is no need to cycle your dosage. This is primarily made up of leucine, isoleucine, and valine known to have anabolic effect on the body ( builds, growth)
Application
These products dilute in liquid. Mix ingredients in water, juice ( lemonade, grapefruit , orange ) or a combination of both.
During the loading phase (20g/day), I mix mine with water and 1 cup of juice into a ( 52 Fl oz ) container first thing in the morning and drink it all day long during the loading phase for 7 days. Then, I take the maintenance dosage of (5g/day) drinking it with water and ¼ - 1 cup of juice in a (25 Fl oz) container. The loading phase will help condition your body for using creatine effectively.
Personal History
I've used these products off and on over the length of my exercise career. They work!!! You still have to eat properly. These are not replacing food but adding to the utilization of your food to help you reach your Next Level!
